  • Own end to end supply chain and manufacturing for global FMCG brands
  • Lead the operations side of an SAP S/4HANA transformation

About Our Client

Our client is a global FMCG business with well-known brands on the shelves in supermarkets and major retailers across Australia and New Zealand

Transformation and ERP

  • Lead the supply chain and operations side of an SAP S/4HANA implementation, from design through go-live and stabilisation.
  • Redesign end-to-end processes across plan, source, make, and deliver, so the business runs on one way of working.
  • Build the data, reporting and analytics capability that turns the new system into better decisions, including early AI and automation use cases.
  • Work hand in hand with the CFO, the transformation team and IT. You'll be one of the business leaders who makes the program land on the ground.
  • Set up the operating model so new brands and businesses can be integrated quickly and cheaply as the group grows.

Manufacturing

  • Lead safe, reliable and efficient manufacturing across multiple sites with very different processes, from highly automated lines to hands-on operations.
  • Embed consistent operating disciplines, continuous improvement and asset reliability across the network.
  • Own the capex plan and lead investment in automation, capacity and site upgrades.
  • Partner with product development and marketing to industrialise new products and get them to market on time, at the right quality and cost.

Planning

  • Take S&OP to a mature, integrated business planning process that lines up demand, supply, capacity and inventory.
  • Lift forecast accuracy, inventory health and working capital while protecting service.
  • Give the leadership team one honest view of supply risk and opportunity.

Procurement

  • Lead strategic procurement across raw materials, packaging and finished goods, from local and international suppliers.
  • Build resilient supplier partnerships that manage cost, quality, availability and risk.
  • Bring a commercial edge to sourcing decisions, including make versus buy.

Logistics and customer delivery

  • Own warehousing, transport and distribution across Australia and New Zealand, including 3PL and carrier partnerships.
  • Drive DIFOT, inventory accuracy and cost to serve with major retail and grocery customers.
  • Optimise the network for capacity, resilience and growth.

Safety, people and sustainability

  • Lead a visible, human-centred safety culture across every site.
  • Build an accountable, inclusive and high-performing team, with clear decision rights, strong succession and constructive industrial relations.
  • Drive sustainability in operations: packaging, waste, energy and product stewardship.

The Successful Applicant

As Head of Supply Chain & Operations, you will have previous experience leading in a complex, large manufacturer. You will have owned functions such as manufacturing, planning, procurement, warehousing, transport and distribution across ANZ.

Have been part of the leadership team that will have a real say in strategy, investment and culture.

You will have previous experience in implementing a new ERP system; an advantage if it's SAP S/4HANA.

  • You've run manufacturing and supply chain together in FMCG, consumer goods, durables or food and beverage, ideally across multiple sites.
  • You've supplied major grocery or retail and know the stakes.
  • You've led an ERP implementation from the front, ideally SAP, and lived through go-live.
  • You're commercial and confident with budgets, capex, cost to serve and working capital.
  • You've built strong teams and lifted capability, not just managed it.
  • Frontline teams trust you, and so does the boardroom.
  • You'd rather be on site than behind a desk, and travel doesn't faze you.
  • You hold a tertiary qualification in supply chain, engineering, operations or business.

What’s on Offer

  • Full scope: plan, source, make and deliver all sit with you.
  • A seat at the table: you're on the leadership team, not reporting into it.
  • A funded transformation: an SAP S/4HANA program you get to shape, not inherit.
  • Investment: in sites, automation, systems and people.
  • A culture that values operations: leaders spend real time on site and back the people who run them.
  • Career: a global business that moves its best people into bigger roles.

All conversations are strictly confidential. We welcome applications from women and from people of all backgrounds.
