Job Summary

This Purchasing and Supply Chain Planner role involves maintaining Materials Requirement Planning for a manufacturing site, building relationships with suppliers, negotiating cost-savings, and ensuring a smooth supply chain.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain planning, supplier negotiations, and material control, with strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Negotiate cost-saving activities
• Place and expedite orders
• Liaise with internal departments over material lead time
• Ensure sufficient raw material stock levels
• Operate MRP system, keeping SKU information accurate and updated
• Ensure accuracy of MRP forecasts and plans
