Procurement Lead - Networks, Delivery & Infrastructure Operations

Newbury (Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in the office)

We're looking for an experienced Procurement Lead to join a Networks, Delivery & Infrastructure Operations team during an exciting period of transformation.

This is a highly visible opportunity where you'll shape procurement strategy, lead complex sourcing activities, and deliver commercial value across critical network and infrastructure spend categories while partnering with senior business stakeholders.

The Role

• Develop and deliver procurement and sourcing strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Lead complex commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers.
• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives across major spend categories.
• Provide commercial insight and guidance to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Build and maintain category plans and procurement pipelines.
• Manage supplier relationships, market engagement, risk and value optimisation.
• Support strategic business decisions through market intelligence and commercial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with procurement, governance and regulatory requirements.

About You

• Significant experience leading end-to-end procurement programmes within large corporate environments.
• Experience within mobile telecommunications, networks, infrastructure or technology procurement.
• Exposure to RAN (Radio Access Network) procurement would be highly beneficial, although not essential.
• Strong commercial, sourcing and contract negotiation expertise.
• Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders.
• Strong supplier management and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Solid understanding of procurement best practice, market dynamics and commercial risk management.
