Role Overview

A hands-on supply chain and logistics role responsible for managing international orders from purchase through to delivery. The focus is on ensuring smooth operations, controlling costs, supporting the sales team, and driving continuous improvements across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full order lifecycle, ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

Oversee export and logistics activities, including shipping bookings, freight providers, and global shipment tracking.

Supervise and support the export administration team.

Act as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, agents, and internal stakeholders.

Monitor costs, profitability, and supply chain performance, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.

Resolve operational issues, delays, claims, and supply chain disruptions quickly and effectively.

Produce regular reports on orders, shipments, tonnage, and business performance.

Ensure data accuracy within internal systems and support process improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Strong supply chain and logistics experience, ideally within an international environment.

Commercial awareness with the ability to analyse costs, margins, and operational performance.

Confident decision-maker who can work independently and take ownership.

Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience supervising or managing staff.

Knowledge of overseas shipping, freight, and export processes is highly desirable.
