Reed Procurement & Supply Chain are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading UK service organisation for an experienced Procurement Manager to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping procurement strategy, delivering cost efficiencies, managing supplier performance, and supporting a diverse, multi-site operation. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive value, enhance supplier relationships, and ensure robust procurement governance across the business.

The Role

As Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that support business objectives while ensuring best value, quality, and service delivery.

Key responsibilities include

Leading procurement activity across a broad range of indirect and operational spend categories

Developing strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier frameworks

Negotiating contracts, pricing structures, and commercial agreements

Managing supplier relationships and performance to ensure service excellence

Identifying and delivering cost-saving opportunities and process improvements

Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, governance, and contractual obligations

Producing procurement reports, spend analysis, and performance metrics

Collaborating with operational and senior leadership teams to understand business requirements

Monitoring market trends and supplier innovations to drive continuous improvement

About You

We are looking for a commercially astute procurement professional with a proven track record of delivering value within a fast-paced, service-led environment.

You will have

Previous experience in a Procurement Manager, Category Manager, or Senior Buyer position

Strong contract negotiation and supplier management skills

Demonstrable experience delivering cost savings and procurement efficiencies

Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities

Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills

Experience managing multiple projects and priorities effectively

Advanced Excel and procurement reporting capabilities

CIPS qualification (Level 4 or above) or working towards professional accreditation would be advantageous
