Procurement Specialist

Rate: Up to £450 per day

Location: Greater Manchester, Sale M33 (Hybrid Working)

Contract: Full-Time, Interim Contract

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join a well-established public sector procurement function supporting a number of partner organisations. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative team environment, delivering strategic procurement activities and helping drive value, efficiency, compliance, and social value outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of procurement projects across a range of service areas.

Provide professional procurement advice and guidance to stakeholders.

Manage end-to-end procurement exercises in line with relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies.

Develop tender documentation, coordinate evaluations, and support contract award processes.

Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify procurement opportunities and deliver value-for-money solutions.

Support contract and supplier management activities, including performance monitoring and contract administration.

Maintain accurate procurement records, contract registers, and supplier information.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and procurement best practice.
