Supply Chain Logistics Analyst

Reed Business Support is delighted to be recruiting a Supply Chain Logistics Analyst for a well-established Hartlepool-based client. Reporting to the Procurement Director, this role will focus on analysing stock levels, market pricing, and supply chain performance to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse stock positions, contracts, and market trends.
• Complete stock reconciliations across multiple locations.
• Support month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
• Produce management information and performance reports.
• Make commercial recommendations to improve profitability and reduce costs.
• Support procurement best practices and identify purchasing savings opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Commercially minded with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is advantageous.
• CIPS Level 3+, AAT Level 4+, or equivalent qualification desirable.
• Previous Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or Stock Control experience preferred.
