Vendor & Procurement Manager – Financial Services

We are supporting a leading financial services organisation to appoint an experienced Vendor & Procurement Manager to own and evolve their procurement and third-party management framework. Financial services experience is essential. Candidates without regulated FS exposure will not be considered.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys owning supplier relationships end-to-end, managing third-party risk, and delivering commercial value in a regulated environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Own vendor strategy and category management aligned to business objectives
- Lead vendor selection, onboarding, and full contract lifecycle management
- Negotiate commercial terms to drive value, cost control, and risk reduction
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, audit requirements, and financial services regulation
- Analyse supplier spend to identify savings and efficiency opportunities
- Work closely with Legal, Risk, Finance, and delivery teams across the business
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in vendor management within a financial services organisation
- Strong knowledge of third-party risk, procurement governance, and contract negotiation
- Experience working in regulated environments (e.g. FCA, PRA, SOX, internal audit)
- Confident stakeholder manager, able to influence at senior levels
- Commercial and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
