c.£92,000 + £6,6000 car allowance + 15% Bonus + Pension (doubled up to 9%) + Private Healthcare (Family) + 26 days Annual leave + additional benefits

A rare opportunity has opened for an experienced procurement leader to take ownership of IT category strategy at scale. This is a senior, high impact role leading north of £80 million spend and shaping the commercial direction of a complex organisation along with leading a team of 5 high performing and experienced Procurement Managers.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will lead the creation and delivery of category strategies across a broad IT portfolio, ensuring value, resilience, and performance across the end to end supply chain. You will manage complex supplier relationships, drive governance excellence, and deliver measurable commercial improvements.

• Full ownership of £80 million category strategy and sourcing delivery
• Major contract negotiations and supplier performance management
• Category governance, risk reduction and value delivery
• End-to-end supply chain activity across a diverse internal stakeholder landscape
• A team of sourcing professionals, fostering capability, alignment and excellence

What You’ll Bring

• Extensive category & contract management expertise
• Proven leadership experience in complex, high value environments
• Strong commercial acumen and senior-level stakeholder influence
• Degree/MBA and professional procurement accreditation (e.g., MCIPS)
• A track record of delivering tangible cost, quality & service improvements
