Procurement Manager

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to take ownership of all purchasing activities for a busy manufacturing business. This is a key role, responsible for ensuring the timely, cost-effective and high-quality supply of components, materials and services while supporting operational efficiency and business growth.

The Role

As Procurement Manager, you will

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
• Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation
• Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or delivery
• Conduct project feasibility analysis and specify capital equipment for future growth
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for savings and process improvements
• Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare reports for senior management
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and industry standards
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to forecast demand and manage inventory

Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years’ procurement or supply chain experience, ideally in manufacturing or electronics
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills
• Experience using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Desirable: Degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field, professional certification such as CIPS
