Procurement and Supply Chain Expert

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Procurement and Supply Chain professional to join our team. As a Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement and supply chain initiatives that drive efficiency, sustainability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Developing and managing procurement strategies across major programmes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and group targets.
Ensuring responsible procurement practices are implemented across allocated projects, supporting project delivery teams and adhering to group P&SC targets and objectives.
Establishing and maintaining robust and structured supply chains to support work-winning and delivering projects/frameworks.
Supporting category management approaches within the sector to leverage spend and performance, aligning with group category management strategies.
Driving ESG initiatives, including SME development, social value creation, zero carbon solutions, and promoting safety, in collaboration with the Head of Sustainable Procurement and Relationship Management.
Promoting collaboration between the business and supply chain to unlock value through innovation and best practice using ISO 44001.
Ensuring strong governance and adherence to terms and conditions, minimizing risk exposure and effective supply chain performance management.
Working closely with Central Procurement to ensure compatibility between functions and activities.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
Developing relationships with clients' supply chain and procurement teams, participating in their initiatives to assist in achieving their goals.
Utilizing data to inform effective decision-making and driving continuous improvement in procurement and supply chain processes.

Qualifications

Essential

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Member Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply qualified or similar professional certification (e.g., CPSM).

Desirable

MBA or Master's degree in a related procurement field.
MCIM or ILM Leadership degree.
