An exciting opportunity has arisen with a global consumer goods business that’s in the midst of a major transformation, evolving from a regional structure to a fully centralised, globally integrated model.
This newly created role will sit within the Global Procurement Centre of Excellence, supporting the function’s next phase of maturity. Reporting directly to the Global Head of the Centre of Excellence, the Global Program Manager – Productivity & Transformation will play a key role in driving enterprise-wide programs that enhance value delivery, improve productivity, and strengthen governance across regions.
It’s a unique opportunity to join a global team at a pivotal point of change, with strong senior stakeholder exposure and tangible impact across business performance.
The Opportunity
- Lead and coordinate global productivity and transformation programs, ensuring strategic alignment, robust governance, and timely delivery.
- Drive Phase 2 of a global spend visibility and tracking platform implementation, ensuring adoption and performance improvement across markets.
- Oversee the Productivity Acceleration Program, partnering with an external consultancy to deliver measurable value across multiple categories.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to identify, track, and report performance metrics and savings targets.
- Champion change management and stakeholder engagement, helping to embed global ways of working and cross-regional collaboration.
- Provide clear program governance, reporting, and insight to senior leadership and the executive team.
About You
You’ll be a structured, commercially minded program professional who thrives in complex, global environments. You’re equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to deliver and presenting at a senior level.
Experience & Skills
- Strong program and project management expertise, ideally within procurement, operations, or commercial transformation.
- Background in global or matrixed organisations – comfortable working across geographies and senior stakeholder groups.
- Proven experience driving productivity, efficiency, or value creation initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset, data-driven approach, and confidence managing KPIs and program tracking.
- Experience with procurement tools or platforms (e.g., spend visibility or performance systems) beneficial but not essential.
- Industry background could include FMCG, manufacturing, or other high-velocity sectors.
The Role in Context
This position combines global PMO and productivity leadership within a newly centralised procurement function. You’ll help shape how the organisation delivers value at scale — through improved processes, stronger governance, and enhanced cross-functional collaboration.
You’ll partner closely with the Global Head of the Centre of Excellence, Finance, and regional procurement teams, as well as external consulting partners, to ensure delivery of key initiatives and tangible savings outcomes.
This role offers excellent exposure, variety, and the chance to make a real mark on a high-profile transformation journey.
