I am supporting a market leading organisation looking for a strong up and coming procurement Category Specialist to join their team, managing indirect spend.

This role sits within an established function and will focus on delivering end to end indirect procurement activity across a varied spend portfolio.

The position would suit someone with strong stakeholder engagement skills who is comfortable managing multiple sourcing projects in a fast paced environment.

Key information

• Permanent role
• £40,000 - 45,000 + Package
• Hybrid working pattern with 3 days per week onsite
• Central Bristol location

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end to end procurement activity across indirect categories including but not limited to: Professional Services, Facilities, Marketing & Technology
• Manage RFQs tenders and supplier negotiations
• Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders
• Provide commercial guidance and procurement support
• Analyse spend data to identify value and optimisation opportunities
• Manage multiple projects concurrently

Experience required

• Indirect procurement experience with full lifecycle exposure
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills
• Analytical capability with confidence using data
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• Clear communication skills with suppliers and internal teams

The role is based in Central Bristol with a standard hybrid working arrangement. The expectation is three days per week onsite.
