A leading public sector organisation is seeking a skilled Procurement & Supplier Relationship Management Partner to lead the delivery of its Contract Assurance Framework.

This strategic role focusses on embedding robust contract governance across high-value and priority contracts, ensuring best-practice contract management is consistently applied.You'll also support wider procurement policy and strategy initiatives, working closely with senior colleagues on special projects and cyclical reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and delivery of the Contract Assurance Framework.
• Assess and advise on contract management practices across priority contracts.
• Support the embedding of structured contract governance and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate on procurement policy, strategy, and reporting initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with public sector procurement legislation.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Procurement experience in housing or wider public sector.
• Proven track record in implementing structured contract management or assurance frameworks.
• Strong commercial and contract management experience in service-oriented environments.
• Ability to build constructive supplier relationships that deliver added value.
• Project/programme management experience across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Experience with SLAs, KPIs, and contract performance metrics.
• Excellent knowledge of UK procurement regulations and risk mitigation.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and planning skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Desirable

• Experience managing end-to-end tendering processes.
• Familiarity with geographically dispersed procurement functions.
• Experience in asset management or compliance-related procurement.
