One of the most respected names in the Defence industry are looking for a Procurement Administrator to support their Central Tooling function in Yeovil.

Role: Procurement Administrator

Contract: 12 Months

Location: Yeovil

Pay: Up to £20 p/hr (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)

Working Pattern: 3/4 days onsiteAs a Procurement Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting tooling procurement, governance, and supplier management, ensuring the smooth operation of tooling processes and compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Generate tooling Requests for Quotation and process tooling quotes

Raise tooling Purchase Requisitions and process Goods Receipting in SAP

Maintain SAP Tooling Notifications, Equipment Masters, and Material Masters

Upload tool drawings to SAP Document Management System

Support tooling audits, supplier approvals, and asset management activities

Assist in reviewing and maintaining departmental processes, instructions, and manuals

Provide support for spend, hours reporting, and operational complianceThis is a detail-oriented, process-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys working with SAP systems, supplier interactions, and governance activities while supporting key tooling and procurement operations.

Required Skills

Strong administration, organisational, and numerical skills

Interest or experience in SAP or other IT systems

Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities

Ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external suppliers

Experience or interest in procurement, tooling, or supplier governance processes
