More Than Just A Job

As a proud B-Corp we focus on using business as a force for good. We do this by balancing out people and planet with profit. For every Mindful Chef recipe box bought we donate the equivalent of a school meal to a child in a less developed country (over 20 million meals donated and counting...) and we have also pledged to go Net Zero by 2030 but there are so many other initiatives that we would love to tell you about!

What we are looking for

At Mindful Chef, great planning powers great results. As our Supply Chain Planner, you’ll play a central role in shaping how our business prepares, plans, and performs. You’ll be at the heart of forecasting, supplier planning, and cross-team collaboration—working closely with operations, buying, kitchen, and logistics teams to make sure the right products are in the right place at the right time.

This is the perfect role for someone who is highly organised, confident in communication, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. If you enjoy connecting people, balancing data with creativity, and turning plans into action, this role is for you.

Working days: Sunday - Thursday

You are

  • A confident, engaging communicator who enjoys leading conversations and influencing decisions.
  • Comfortable working with both data and people, balancing analysis with collaboration.
  • Highly organised, resilient, and calm in high-pressure environments.
  • Experienced in forecasting, planning, or supply chain in fast-moving or food/consumer goods environments (preferred).
  • Confident using spreadsheets and planning tools to manage and communicate data clearly.
  • Positive, proactive, and naturally solutions-focused.

You will

Forecasting & Demand Planning (Short & Long Term)

  • Own short-term and long-term demand forecasting across product categories.
  • Analyse sales trends, seasonality, promotions, and customer behaviour to create accurate, data-driven forecasts.
  • Work closely with operations, marketing, and commercial teams to align forecasts with business plans.

Menu Planning Collaboration

  • Partner with the kitchen and commercial teams to support menu planning, ensuring recipes are operationally feasible and supply-ready.
  • Translate menu plans into supply requirements, balancing innovation with availability, cost, and supplier capability.
  • Manage supplier readiness for new menu launches and menu rotations.

Event Planning & Operational Support

  • Plan supply chain activity for company-led events, campaigns, pop-ups, and product launches.
  • Coordinate cross-functional timelines to ensure stock, packaging, and logistics are aligned for events.
  • Act as the main planning contact for ad-hoc and high-profile business projects.

Ordering & Supply Planning

  • Place and manage orders across fresh, dry, long-life, and packaging categories.
  • Work closely with suppliers to confirm capacity, lead times, and delivery schedules based on forecasts and plans.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the communication hub between suppliers, operations, buying, technical, and finance teams.
  • Present plans, risks, and opportunities clearly to stakeholders across the business.

Run Key Planning Meetings

  • Lead and facilitate inbound planning meetings to align deliveries and capacity.
  • Run weekly operational planning reviews, sharing forecast updates, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Hold regular 1:1s with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive performance and continuous improvement.

Category & Supplier Ownership

  • Own planning for key product categories, monitoring performance and identifying risks before they impact service.
  • Build strong, long-term supplier partnerships to support both current and future growth.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify gaps in planning accuracy, stock efficiency, and supplier performance.
  • Drive improvements across forecasting tools, processes, and cross-team workflows.

Why us?

  • A competitive package that rewards your skills and dedication.
  • Be part of a Better Business (B-Corp), making a positive impact on profit, people, and planet.
  • Join an award-winning startup backed by the largest food and beverage company globally.
  • Experience a workplace that feels like home, complete with free meal and a workout space with Peloton bikes.
  • Prioritise your well-being with perks like Vitality health insurance, access to learning resources, mental health support, and a generous holiday package (30 days + bank holidays).
  • Enjoy a 50% discount on all Mindful Chef products.
  • Enhanced policy of up to 6 months full pay primary parental leave and up to 6 weeks full pay secondary parental leave

We are PERSONAL. We started Mindful Chef with our friends and families as customers and those are the kind of relationships we want to maintain however big we grow. Being real and true to ourselves and each other.

We are UNAFRAID. We want to be the best – to challenge conventions, to think differently and be imaginative in how we solve problems. Brave enough to take on the big players and to do what’s right even when it’s difficult.
