An established and growing engineering organisation is seeking a Procurement Manager to establish and lead procurement within the business.

This is a standalone, newly created role offering the opportunity to design and implement procurement strategy, introduce structure, and support ongoing business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategy, processes, and controls

Take ownership of supplier relationships and performance

Lead sourcing, negotiation, and contract management activity

Identify cost reduction and value enhancement opportunities

Partner with stakeholders across the business to support operations

Support the organisation as it expands into new markets

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in procurement within a technical, engineering, or manufacturing environment

Experience setting up or improving procurement processes

Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills

Able to work autonomously and take ownership of a function

Additional Information

Office-based role, strong preference for on-site working

Initial 6-month contract with potential to become permanent
