Salary: £40k - £50k + Package

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a leading global organisation seeking a Procurement Paralegal & Contract Specialist to join its European procurement function. This role is ideal for a proactive legal professional looking to take ownership of contract processes and support strategic supplier management across a dynamic commercial environment.

The Role

Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end contracting process covering suppliers, vendors, and strategic partners. This is a key role in the business, ensuring compliant, timely, and efficient contract management across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Drafting & Negotiation

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a range of supplier and commercial agreements including MSAs, NDAs, service agreements, purchase agreements, and contract amendments
  • Identify contract risks, liability terms, and compliance considerations
  • Work closely with legal, procurement, and business teams to ensure alignment with internal policy and commercial objectives

Contract Lifecycle Management

  • Manage contracts from initiation to execution, renewal and archiving
  • Maintain accurate records through contract management systems (e.g. DocuSign, Oboloo, etc.)
  • Track key contract dates and ensure timely action on renewals, terminations and approvals

Compliance & Risk

  • Ensure adherence to legal obligations, regulatory standards, and ethical procurement practices
  • Support internal audits and compliance checks relating to third-party contracts
  • Liaise with legal regarding GDPR, anti-bribery, ESG requirements, data privacy, and export control

Administrative & Stakeholder Support

  • Coordinate signature processes, document storage and template management
  • Act as a central point of contact between procurement, suppliers, and internal counsel
  • Provide legal research and contract-related administrative support

Process Improvement

  • Recommend improvements to existing templates, workflows and contract approval processes
  • Assist in training procurement and business users on contracting best practice

About You

This role would suit a detail-driven legal professional with strong commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management skills.

You will ideally have

  • 3+ years’ experience in a paralegal, contracts specialist, or legal support role
  • Background supporting procurement, supplier management or corporate contracting
  • Strong knowledge of commercial contract terms, negotiations and legal risk management
  • Proficiency with contract management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent drafting skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously

Desirable experience

  • Regulated industry (e.g. pharma, finance, technology)
  • Familiarity with cross-border contracts, GDPR, ESG clauses, and third-party risk
