Description
Advanced Supply Chain is seeking a highly detail-oriented Solutions Design Manager to play a pivotal role as the key link between our Commercial Key Account Team and our valued clients. In this permanent, full-time position, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the client experience, drive operational efficiencies, and unlock new revenue opportunities for ASC.
This role is responsible for designing, enhancing, and implementing tailored logistics solutions that unlock new revenue streams across ASC’s suite of services—including Returns, VAS, Customs, Warehousing, Transport, and IT. You will leverage advanced tools and modelling techniques to translate complex client data into clear operational blueprints and robust financial feasibility assessments.
We offer the flexibility to work in a hybrid model from any of our locations, along with a competitive salary of £70,000–£80,000, a car allowance, bonus eligibility, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with our current key clients to understand and support the delivery of strategic initiatives
- Identify client pain points, operational inefficiencies, and supply-chain risks, and develop value-adding solutions and mitigation strategies for both the client and ASCG
- Identify multi-client development opportunities which will improve core functionality and deliver enhancements to support industry change
- Lead cross-functional workshops to define & support service level agreements and key performance indicators
- Work closely with the Commercial Key Account Team to assess client requirements, deliver enhancements and grow volume/revenue/margin
- Track and report on client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and cost savings
- Ensure all client solutions are delivered on time and within agreed budgets
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Have worked within a Supply Chain environment and have a good understanding of Supply Chain processes
- Strong logistics knowledge and understanding how IT systems fundamentally support operations
- Proven ability to operate cross functionally with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally is essential and communicate effectively
- Analytical, innovative and conceptually strong
- Proven experience in developing robust practical services to best support continued growth of our key client base
- Strong presentation and project management skills expertise
