Global Demand Planning Manager
Chippenham (Hybrid – 2 days on-site)
Reports to: Global Supply Chain Planning Director

At Alliance we’re looking for a Global Demand Planning Manager to own, drive and continuously improve our demand forecasting capability across all regions. This is a highly visible role at the heart of our commercial and supply chain decision-making where your insight directly influences business performance, investment and growth strategy. This role requires a perfect blend of analytical and commercial acumen, combined with strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, as it is both cross-functional and multicultural.

What you’ll be doing
- Lead the monthly statistical forecasting process across all regions
- Partner with commercial and regional teams to align key account and market forecasts
- Own the global risk & opportunity log and surface key demand drivers
- Deliver accurate short- and long-term volume and value forecasts
- Highlight material changes to the top 80% of SKUs via S&OE and IBP
- Drive scenario planning and data-led decision making
- Track and improve forecast accuracy through defined KPIs
- Maintain master data integrity and ensure forecasts flow into critical systems
What you’ll be accountable for
- Owning global forecast accuracy
- Improving planning maturity and moving towards a “hands-off” forecasting model
- Leading IBP commercial reviews
- Driving SKU rationalisation with data-backed insights
- Ensuring transparency and governance of planning assumptions
- Supporting innovation with robust demand ranges
What we are looking for in our new Global Demand Planning Manager
- Experience in a global demand planning role within a complex multiple stakeholder organisation
- Cultural awareness across various global regions, in particular China and Singapore
- Strong background in analytics, statistics and structured problem-solving
- Advanced Excel skills: Power BI experience essential (Power Apps a bonus)
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insight
- Confident communicator, able to influence across all levels
- Proactive, improvement-driven mindset with strong ownership
