About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Buyer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services while developing supplier relationships to ensure best procurement practices and value.

This is a dynamic opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of soft contact lenses, operating globally. As a Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and securing high-quality suppliers that meet our quality standards.

Your key responsibilities will include

• Ensuring effective procurement of assigned goods and services in accordance with regulatory, corporate, and operational policies.
• Procuring materials timely to meet inventory levels and quality standards.
• Leading the end-to-end sourcing and contract administration process, including RFQs, supplier bid evaluations, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
• Managing supplier relationships, including development, integration, and performance evaluation.

To succeed in this role, you will need

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing indirect or direct goods and services.
• Experience in contract negotiation, ERP systems, and manufacturing environments.
• A Bachelor's degree in Materials Management, Business, or Project Management.
