A seasoned Contract Professional seeks to join a dynamic team as a Strategic Sourcing Manager.
Job Description
Lead the oversight and execution of contractual agreements, aligning with organisational objectives and client expectations. Drive operational excellence by compiling and managing call-out rotas, adhering to company procedures, implementing improvements, meeting KPIs, maintaining contractual compliance, delivering services within set budgets, and processing all financial invoicing on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and manage call-out rotas to ensure sufficient cover; adhere to company procedures; implement improvements where necessary; meet KPIs; maintain contractual compliance; deliver services within set budgets; and process all financial invoicing on time.
- Manage contract-related finances: cost management, parts analysis, timesheet reviews, invoicing, and month-end processes.
- Monitor field workforce productivity: reports, performance, and continuous improvements.
- Lead new contracts: mobilisation and settling process; main link with client organisations in terms of financial and contractual management.
- Attend client meetings: build and maintain strong working relationships; explore opportunities to increase work streams; and ensure timely receipt of payments by managing debts.
- Team leadership: foster a positive work environment; encourage ownership of responsibilities and projects; develop and coach team members through regular meetings and performance reviews.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental Management: monitor and manage aspects within your area of responsibility; keep the team updated on Gas Safe Legislation and Health and Safety Awareness.
- Vehicles management: completion of van checks; management of returns; presence of appropriate PPE; and execution of van stock audits using fleet check applications.
- HR collaboration: maintain communication and relationships with compliance HR Business Partners.
