Production Planning Role Overview
The Production Planner position is responsible for managing daily operations to ensure timely processing of customer orders, accurate stock allocation, and adherence to internal procedures and health & safety regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Efficiently process customer orders
- Allocate stock in accordance with specifications and internal rules
- Support production teams (PH, QC, Despatch) with order and stock information
- Complete assigned tasks on a daily basis by the Account Manager
- Communicate potential issues with order completion to the Account Manager
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong numeracy, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
- A team player with good relationship-building skills
- Previous experience in production planning is an asset
This role requires a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain open lines of communication with production teams and ensure seamless order fulfillment.
