Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Purchasing Buyer role based in Chadderton. The Purchasing Buyer will manage purchase orders, track inventory, and ensure the timely acquisition of materials and goods. Responsibilities include conducting market research to evaluate suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms, and maintaining accurate records of purchasing activities. Collaborating closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure cost-effective procurement and adherence to company standards will be a key focus.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Purchasing Processes and expertise in managing Purchase Orders
  • Proven skills in Purchasing and thorough understanding of procurement methods
  • Proficient Analytical Skills for evaluating suppliers, pricing, and cost analysis
  • Excellent Communication skills to negotiate with suppliers and coordinate with internal stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities
  • Proficiency in relevant purchasing software and tools is advantageous
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or related industries and experience in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
