The DRVN Automotive group are recruiting for an Automotive Procurement Specialist with a deep understanding of the industry to support the procurement team. The role is initially a 3 month contract (Outside IR35) and will be based on-site in Coventry.

Role Description

The core deliverables of the role include

  • Manage competitive sourcing across multiple commodities for two parallel vehicle launch programmes
  • Support the shift from tactical prototype sourcing to strategic production partnerships
  • Lead supplier negotiations to maximise value and build strong, collaborative relationships
  • Contribute to wider business transformation, providing insight to improve processes and efficiency
  • The Specialist will collaborate with internal departments to meet organisational procurement needs and technical specifications.

The core capabilities required are

  • Background in Automotive and/or Motorsport (highly beneficial)
  • Experience within start-up or scale-up organisations
  • Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Vendor Negotiation
  • Deep understanding of Procurement tools, techniques & best practices with the ability to apply by default outside of structured framework environments
  • Full end-to-end Source-to-Contract capability
  • Lateral thinker with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong negotiator, communicator, and team player
  • Proactive, collaborative self-starter with a hands-on approach
  • Calm, composed, and effective under pressure
  • Proficiency in relevant procurement and ERP systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Coventry
  • Must have rights to work in UK.
