We are seeking a highly organised and results-driven Purchasing Manager to oversee our purchasing and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services required to support our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to secure the efficient and cost-effective supply of ventilation equipment, ductwork, fittings, tools, and related materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure favourable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability, quality, and continuity of supply.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to forecast material requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards in all procurement practices.
• Review purchase orders and contracts for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with project requirements.
• Analyse market trends and supplier performance to drive cost savings and procurement efficiency.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to manage budgets, track spending, and identify value opportunities.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and performance metrics.
• Lead, mentor, and support procurement staff where applicable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally within construction, HVAC, or M&E.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of ventilation, HVAC, or construction materials and suppliers is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
