About the Role

Are you a confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills and a flair for problem-solving? We’re recruiting a Procurement Team Leader for a leading manufacturer, ideal for someone with a background in account management, buying, or supply chain, looking to step up into a team leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships across the UK and overseas.
Lead and support a small team of buyers, ensuring smooth day-to-day purchasing.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to deliver best value.
Analyse data and forecasts to ensure stock availability and supply chain resilience.
Support new supplier onboarding and drive continuous improvement.
Work closely with internal teams including R&D, Sales, and QA.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Background in account management, procurement, or supply chain.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Strong analytical mindset (a Maths or analytical degree is a bonus).
Energetic, proactive, and commercially aware.
Holds a full UK driving licence

Desirable

Team leadership experience is an advantage but not essential.
CIPS qualified (or willing to study towards) desirable but not essential.
