About the Role
IQ’s busy, fast-paced Project Management department is looking for a Procurement Assistant to support procurement, planning, and logistics across a wide range of architectural glazing projects.
You’ll help manage supplier data, process orders, and keep our CRM fully updated while working closely with the procurement team and contract management divisions.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who’s either seeking a new challenge or looking to start their career within a forward-thinking organisation. Full training is provided through our established onboarding programme.

Key Responsibilities
As a Procurement Assistant, you’ll gain experience across the full procurement cycle, including:
- Logging order and delivery confirmations on our CRM and intranet
- Creating glass schedules from design drawings
- Sending procurement enquiries for materials and bonding
- Chasing supplier responses and order updates
- Negotiating costs with suppliers
- Updating procurement records on CRM and intranet
- Checking and updating equipment orders to ensure they are off-hired
- Maintaining the procurement planner and schedule
- Managing the joint procurement inbox
- Attending weekly meetings with Procurement and Project Managers
- Chasing credit notes and resolving supplier defect reports
Required Experience & Skills
Full training will be provided. Candidates should have:
- A degree or similar level of education
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High computer literacy (Microsoft 365 and related software)
- Good numerical and commercial awareness

Role Details
- Location: Amersham
- Salary: Dependent on experience.
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm with 1-hour lunch)
- Progression: Rapid progression available, with scope to advance to Procurement Executive or Procurement Manager within specific contract teams
