Finance & Procurement Shared Services Lead

A leading UK Consultancy are looking for a Finance & Procurement Service Lead to design and deliver a new shared service for a major transformation programme. You’ll sit at the heart of service design, transition and early-life operation for Finance & Procurement, built around a new ERP platform and a multi-channel service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design of Finance & Procurement shared services, including service blueprints and operating models.
• Run workshops with client and third-party SMEs to shape processes, resolve design issues and secure stakeholder buy-in.
• Ensure services meet agreed KPIs, SLAs and user experience standards, and align with ERP capabilities (minimising bespoke build).
• Identify and manage financial and operational risks across delivery, operations and supplier performance.
• Support testing, training, dress rehearsals and cutover activities, including phased transition and hypercare.
• Troubleshoot service issues during early operational rollout and support service teams through stabilisation.

Key Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience leading sizeable operational teams in an outsourcing / BPO / shared service environment.
• Strong background in Finance & Procurement service design and operating model development.
• Proven track record on large, multi-party implementation or transformation programmes (ERP experience highly beneficial – Oracle Fusion, SAP, Workday, D365 etc.).
• Excellent client-facing skills: stakeholder management, workshops, presentations and conflict resolution.
• Experience of TUPE / workforce transfer, engagement and change management.
• Strong understanding of service transition, testing strategies and hypercare support.

Nice to have: UX-led service design, Government / public sector experience, accessibility (GDS / WCAG) awareness.
