Location: Basildon
Package: £31,000 - £34,000 plus 10% bonus.

We are seeking a Quality Control and Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Konica Minolta!
As a Quality Control and Warehouse Team Leader at Konica Minolta, you will be responsible for the seamless management of daily logistics quality control and warehouse operations in a dynamic and seasoned environment. This role requires exceptional organisational acumen, acute attention to detail, and the proven ability to motivate and lead teams toward achieving key performance indicators, while upholding rigorous standards of safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Key Deliverables include
- Operational Leadership - Lead, direct, and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including (but not limited to) receiving, quality control of PDI, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management
- Team Management: Be accessible, supervise and motivate Operations Administration and Warehouse staff, organise work schedules, monitor performance, provide coaching, and facilitate ongoing training to enhance a productive and engaged workforce
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards in product handling and storage, enforce quality control procedures, and resolve issues related to damaged or incorrect goods
- Inventory Control: Oversee the accurate recording of stock levels, conduct regular audits and cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, accurately update IT systems, implement measures to minimise losses and improve accuracy
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess quality control and warehouse processes and workflows for efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness; suggest and implement improvements to optimise operational performance.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, report hazards, and encourage a safety-first culture across all warehouse activities.
- Reporting & Administration: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key warehouse metrics such as productivity, stock levels, and staff performance; manage documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Equipment Management: Ensure proper use, maintenance, and servicing of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, etc.), and arrange repairs or replacements as necessary

- Previous experience in a logistics and warehouse environment or a similar operational role is essential.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems, SAP and logistics best practices.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies is advantageous.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or shift patterns if required.
