What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and implement category strategies that deliver sustainable savings, risk reduction, and service improvements.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities (RFIs, RFPs, negotiations) ensuring compliance and value for money.
- Manage supplier selection, contracting, and performance reviews, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure suppliers meet Medivet's ESG, data protection, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Monitor spend, savings, and supplier performance, producing reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships across Property, IT, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and other teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.
- Drive adoption of procurement best practices, tools, and systems, mentoring junior team members along the way.
- 5+ years' experience in indirect procurement across multi-site operations.
- Proven expertise in category management and end-to-end contract management.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to link data insights to strategic outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Experience leading supplier performance management and ensuring compliance with ESG standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems (ERP, contract management tools).
