Position: Senior Associate, Supply Chain Planner

Location: Basingstoke, UK - Hybrid

Client: Pharmaceutical

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee replenishment of pharmaceutical products from global/pre-wholesaler sites to UK logistics partners, resolving inbound supply issues.
  • Manage inventory levels across multiple 3PL locations, ensuring optimal stock, effective rotation, and minimal obsolescence.
  • Analyse inventory trends and reconcile daily stock data to maintain accurate reporting.
  • Manage direct-to-pharmacy order fulfilment, ensuring timely product availability and resolving delivery issues.
  • Monitor service levels, investigate root causes of any failures, and implement corrective actions.
  • Track and report key supply chain KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to enhance processes and drive automation.

Main Requirements

  • Previous experience in supply chain planning (pharma, FMCG, or related industry).
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, replenishment, and fulfilment processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (nice to have)
  • Experience with SAP and analytics tools (PowerBI, Power Automate, Tableau, etc.). (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with 3PL management and distributor operations. (nice to have)
