Procurement Specialist (Dutch Speaking)

Location: Cannock

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm / Hybrid

Rate: Up to £50.00 per hour

Contract: 3–6 Months

Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation that prides itself on innovation and operational excellence. They are seeking a highly organised Dutch-Speaking Procurement Specialist to join their team on a contract basis.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of procurement activities, supplier management, reporting, and general purchasing operations within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accurate and timely entry of all operational data into the ERP system.
  • Provide comprehensive purchase order support to internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Review and process all requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Establish lead times, monitor outstanding orders, and identify consistently late suppliers.
  • Support goods receipting and invoice query resolution in collaboration with finance, operations, and BPO partners (Wipro).
  • Manage supplier data, ensuring accreditation and validation requirements are met before onboarding.
  • Resolve purchase invoice queries in partnership with accounting and contract management teams.
  • Validate procurement cost savings and maintain savings trackers.
  • Produce, update, and analyse procurement reports as required.
  • Assist with month-end activities including freight/fuel recovery analysis and GRN/GRNI management.
  • Oversee indirect purchasing for office supplies, services, events, and small operational needs.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as archiving documentation and managing small courier deliveries.

About You

  • Experienced in procuring goods and services across varied categories.
  • Strong understanding of supplier markets and commercial dynamics.
  • Confident in data analysis, spend management, and identifying procurement levers to drive value and cost efficiencies.
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch (essential).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
