The Role

Purdy & Figg is seeking a Supply Chain Finance professional to sit at the heart of its operations. Reporting to CFO, you will work closely with the COO, Supply Chain and Operations teams to drive financial insight, strengthen cost efficiency and support scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Fulfilment teams to analyse performance and cost drivers
  • Build and maintain costing and COGS models, tracking variances and operational efficiency
  • Support annual budgeting, reforecasting and performance reviews
  • Maintain accurate product costings and analyse margin performance across products, channels and regions
  • Develop KPIs for manufacturing, co-packing and fulfilment partners
  • Provide scenario modelling for capacity planning, make-versus-buy decisions and NPD
  • Ensure accurate accounting for inventory, variances and supply chain accruals
  • Support month-end processes and help enhance systems, controls and data integrity

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with up to c.2 years PQE
  • Strong FP&A or commercial finance experience within supply chain, manufacturing, FMCG
  • Skilled in financial modelling, costing, and operational analysis
  • Confident working with stakeholders and influencing decisions
  • Knowledge of inventory accounting and standard costing
  • Desirable: experience in fast-growth scale-ups, DTC, Unleashed, Xero or WMS systems

Location & Working Model

Hybrid role across Hemel Hempstead, London HQ and key manufacturing/3PL sites, with a minimum of 3 days per week across locations.
