Contract Officer – Property, Maintenance & Repairs
Location: Sevenoaks, Kent (Hybrid – approx. 2/5 office-based)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37 per week (Mon–Thu 8:45–17:15, Fri 8:45–16:45)
Salary: £45,440 per annum
Venn Group is partnering with a leading Housing Association to recruit a Contract Officer to join their Property Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in managing property maintenance and repairs contracts, ensuring compliance, safety, and high-quality service delivery.
The Role
As a Contract Officer, you will
- Coordinate the day-to-day running of property maintenance and repairs contracts.
- Plan works, monitor performance, and ensure delivery meets contractual specifications.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to the Senior Contract Manager.
- Audit contract information and monitor KPIs.
- Support financial monitoring and budget management.
- Respond to customer enquiries and manage CRM updates.
- Assist with compliance data for stock condition, asbestos, and fire risk assessments.
- Take ownership of specific projects and support the wider Property Team.
We’re looking for someone with
- Proven experience in contract or project management.
- Knowledge of JCT and partnering contracts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills and complaint resolution experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
