Contract Officer – Property, Maintenance & Repairs

Location: Sevenoaks, Kent (Hybrid – approx. 2/5 office-based)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 per week (Mon–Thu 8:45–17:15, Fri 8:45–16:45)

Salary: £45,440 per annum

Venn Group is partnering with a leading Housing Association to recruit a Contract Officer to join their Property Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in managing property maintenance and repairs contracts, ensuring compliance, safety, and high-quality service delivery.

The Role

As a Contract Officer, you will

• Coordinate the day-to-day running of property maintenance and repairs contracts.
• Plan works, monitor performance, and ensure delivery meets contractual specifications.
• Provide regular updates and reporting to the Senior Contract Manager.
• Audit contract information and monitor KPIs.
• Support financial monitoring and budget management.
• Respond to customer enquiries and manage CRM updates.
• Assist with compliance data for stock condition, asbestos, and fire risk assessments.
• Take ownership of specific projects and support the wider Property Team.

We’re looking for someone with

• Proven experience in contract or project management.
• Knowledge of JCT and partnering contracts.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent customer service skills and complaint resolution experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
