Role Summary

You will be responsible for stock replenishment in our UK warehouse, working closely with operations, sales, and marketing to identify problems and develop recommendations. You will build strong relationships with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Planning, Logistics, Customs, Product Suppliers, Customer Service, Freight, and Logistic Suppliers externally.

You will work in Bury St Edmunds/Hybrid mode, 3 days a week, after an initial training period, at our office in Bury St. Edmunds.

Our Day-to-Day Tasks

  • Secure finished goods stock for UK sales and distribution across all brands.
  • Maintain relationships and communications with key contacts in Bassano, Italy.
  • Create distribution orders and monitor open purchase orders to meet on-time delivery deadlines.
  • Report finished goods availability issues and coordinate inventory planning and replenishment.
  • Analyse system planning data to ensure SO99+ effectively plans future requirements.
  • Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies.
  • Closely coordinate customer action plans with Supply Planning.
  • Work with Customer Service teams to provide best support on product availability and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize inventory and service levels with internal customers.
  • Monitor local working capital, obsolescence, and slow-moving items.
  • Share possible corrective actions with management to improve stock status.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • 5+ years experience in SCM and/or product procurement.
  • Independent, proactive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Able to self-organize and reach goals independently.
  • Skills and attitude in managing mass data and analysis.
  • Knowledge of Office (mainly Excel and Access).
  • Good knowledge of an ERP (M3).
  • Good reporting attitude.
  • Available to work by objectives and look for results.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
