Procurement Manager - Aerospace

This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials, components, and services essential to our production lines. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, identifying and vetting new suppliers, and negotiating favourable terms and contracts to minimise costs while maintaining quality and ensuring timely delivery. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in procurement, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment, with a strong understanding of aerospace industry standards and supply chain complexities. You will manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and mitigate risks within the supply chain. Key responsibilities include conducting market analysis, leading sourcing initiatives, developing long-term procurement plans, and collaborating closely with engineering, production, and finance departments. A strong ability to analyse spending patterns, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement best practices in procurement is essential.
