As the Senior Logistics and Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's supply chain, including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and order fulfillment. You will develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. This role requires a data-driven approach to problem-solving, a deep understanding of logistics best practices, and the ability to manage complex, international operations. You will lead a global team, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain network.
Key responsibilities
Developing and executing comprehensive logistics and supply chain strategies. Managing inventory levels, warehousing operations, and distribution networks. Optimizing transportation routes and carrier relationships to reduce costs and improve delivery times. Overseeing the order fulfillment process to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Implementing and leveraging supply chain technologies and analytics tools. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and driving performance improvements. Negotiating contracts with suppliers and logistics providers. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and trade laws. Leading, mentoring, and developing a global team of logistics professionals. Collaborating with cross-functional departments to align supply chain operations with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus. A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management is required, with a proven track record of managing large-scale, international operations. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and analytical skills are essential. Expertise in WMS, TMS, and ERP systems is crucial. Excellent negotiation and communication skills are necessary for managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
