Senior Procurement Manager

Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation, is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Procurement Manager to join their fully remote team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping and executing procurement strategies that drive cost savings, enhance supplier relationships, and ensure the reliable supply of goods and services. You will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from identifying supplier opportunities and conducting rigorous negotiations to managing contracts and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Lead and manage the sourcing process for a diverse range of indirect and direct spend categories. Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, fostering strong, collaborative partnerships. Conduct market analysis to understand cost drivers, identify market trends, and leverage purchasing power. Negotiate favourable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to achieve significant cost reductions. Manage supplier performance, ensuring adherence to contract SLAs and quality standards. Develop and maintain robust contract management processes, including review and renewal. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans where necessary. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across various departments to understand their procurement needs and deliver effective solutions. Stay abreast of best practices in procurement and supply chain management, recommending process improvements. Mentor and guide junior members of the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. The successful candidate will possess exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven track record of delivering substantial cost savings and process efficiencies in a procurement function.
