Job Title: SAP Supply Chain Lead

Location: Shipley (with occasional travel to Leeds site)

Salary: £60,000 + 15% Bonus

Benefits: 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Private Medical Insurance (BUPA), Death in Service (7x salary), Pension up to 9% employer contribution

Overview

We’re seeking an experienced SAP Supply Chain Lead to oversee the implementation of SAP across our machine tool manufacturing operations. You’ll act as the key link between business stakeholders and the SAP team, ensuring that all supply chain processes are effectively mapped, configured, and embedded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP supply chain workstreams across Materials Management, Production Planning, Sales and Distribution, Warehouse Management, and Project System
  • Translate supply chain requirements into SAP functional specifications
  • Configure procurement processes, including requisitions, orders, and supplier records
  • Integrate direct and indirect purchasing workflows into SAP
  • Support planning strategies, routings, and capacity planning within Production Planning
  • Align sales order processes and customer fulfilment within Sales and Distribution
  • Define warehouse structures and oversee goods movement within Warehouse Management
  • Support project tracking, costing, and milestone billing within Project System
  • Coordinate data migration, validation, and ongoing governance of supply chain master data
  • Deliver training, user testing, and go-live support for supply chain users
  • Drive continuous improvement of SAP supply chain processes post-implementation

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of supply chain experience, including 3 years in SAP implementation (ideally S/4HANA)
  • Hands-on expertise with SAP’s Materials Management, Production Planning, Sales and Distribution, Warehouse Management, and Project System modules
  • Strong background in manufacturing environments, ideally within precision engineering
  • In-depth understanding of bills of materials, planning systems, and operational processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Detail-focused with strong analytical and change management capabilities

Working Pattern

  • Minimum 35 hours per week with flexible admin hours
  • On-site parking available
